Ethan's Birthday Party

Well after the 23 kids being here last year, I decided that we would have friend party's separate. So Friday night was Ethan's with his friends. Whoah. All I can say is thank goodness I put a time limit on the party. hee, hee. No really he had a blast and I think the girls did too, so that is what is really the most important part.A few games after the kids devourer pizza, cupcakes and ice creamElena checking out where her tail sticker ended upA shot of the group acting silly, Brandon acting cool. The finished pinata before the kids destroy itDivvying up the candy and loot.Natalie checking out the slip n' slide before the big kids start playingElena and her best bud Melanie splashing around.Having a blast on the slide!
It went fast and I think they all had fun. Ethan ended the night by having his first friend sleepover. Which surprisingly went well. We still have a party with family on his actual birthday this weekend. I did make a new rule after this was all over - friend parties are still separate, but now they also will be every other year :)

Fishing with Grandpa

I just wanted to add some pics here about the kids fishing trip with Grandpa. For those of you that don't know my dad, fishing is his life. That is what he enjoys more than anything. He took Ethan and Elena out fishing once last summer and they talked about it for a whole year, so towards the beginning of summer Dad came and took them out to breakfast at BK (something they talk about all the time too, because we never eat breakfast there) Well Pam took some good shots of them all and I just wanted to post about this special day the kids had with my dad.
This one I am going to put in a frame. I love it!Getting down to businessEthan and his big fish:)Now miss Elena gets in on the action. What fisher-kids!
They still talk about their big trip all the time. Dad is suppose to take them out again one day this next week. They cannot wait!

Little Sleepy Head

This is a first for miss Natalie. She must of been whooped. We went on our first back to school shopping trip yesterday morning. We were only out for a few hours, then we came home and had lunch. She started getting whiney so I got her down from the table. Ethan and Elena were moving on to the craft box to make crafts and I was on the phone with my grandma so I noticed Natalie wasn't in the room and I didn't hear her. Went into the living room and this is what I see The little sweetie was worn out!
