Ethan's Birthday Party

Well after the 23 kids being here last year, I decided that we would have friend party's separate. So Friday night was Ethan's with his friends. Whoah. All I can say is thank goodness I put a time limit on the party. hee, hee. No really he had a blast and I think the girls did too, so that is what is really the most important part.A few games after the kids devourer pizza, cupcakes and ice creamElena checking out where her tail sticker ended upA shot of the group acting silly, Brandon acting cool. The finished pinata before the kids destroy itDivvying up the candy and loot.Natalie checking out the slip n' slide before the big kids start playingElena and her best bud Melanie splashing around.Having a blast on the slide!
It went fast and I think they all had fun. Ethan ended the night by having his first friend sleepover. Which surprisingly went well. We still have a party with family on his actual birthday this weekend. I did make a new rule after this was all over - friend parties are still separate, but now they also will be every other year :)

I would say it looks like a fantastic time was had by all!

We did big parties until they got to be about 7? now we just do sleep overs and dinner with the grandparents, works out well!

Sounds fun. I like the Mushett's idea. Only on milestone birthdays do they have big blowouts...like 5, 10, 13 ect. AJ's 5th is coming soon.

The parties are exhausting, I'm glad you made it through. When Robyn turned six we had 10 girls sleepover and that was way too much. Last year she just had 2 and that was much better for me and she still had fun.

Looks like they all had fun. I wish my kids had summer birthdays, there parties would be so easy to do outside.. but as it is I have 2 in January, 1 in November and Little Man in May which so far his birthday party day hasn't been nice enough to have outside.
