What Ethan wanted for his birthday was a day at the Goofy Golf. Go-Karts, putt-putt, video games. Lots of fun. We went on a perfect day - nice and sunny, but not hot. Just right. So we took the girls to spend some time with grandpa and off we went. We went out to a fancy dinner at Burger King first and then it was on to have some fun. He was able to ride on the Big Track with Dad behind the wheel. First couple times around I wasn't sure if he was gonna make it, he was looking a little green, but he perked up when people tried to pass them and dad wouldn't let them :)
Having a blast. He so wanted to ride in the #24 car, he is a Gordon fan.
Then he got his turn behind the wheel. He is just a bit under the height limit for the big tracks, next year I'm sure he'll be ready. He was having a great time racing around the Jr Track.
Cool Golf course was a good time. Love the little houses!
We don't get to spend to much time with the kids one at a time, so this was refreshing to have the whole afternoon to hang out with our little 8 year old man. He is already talking about coming back for his birthday next year!

That looks like a great day.. and it seem so weird to say Ethan is 8 LOL I don't know why.. I guess because I still think of Ryan as 8 but I guess I'm going to have to get us to saying Ryan is 9 seeing how it won't be too much longer till Nov and he turns 9.
